Liquid Telecom CEO Nic Rudnick told South African online publication Tech Central that the company’s East African submarine cable project, Liquid Sea, is “progressing slowly” but is still pushing ahead. 

Rudnick said that the company is working on getting government approvals for the routing of the cable and then will award marine survey contracts.
