NTT Announces Inter-Data Center Connectivity Service

NTT Communications (NTT Com) has introduced an Inter-Data Center Connectivity Service that forms one of the pillars of NTT Com’s new strategy for expanding world-class ICT solutions and quality of service in Asia. The service will utilize a large-capacity backbone for high-speed, seamless rack-to-rack connectivity between core data centers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and the United States. Applications for the Inter-Data Center Connectivity Service will be accepted from September.

Indian Carriers in Bandwidth Deal

Demand for international Internet bandwidth continues to soar throughout the world.  A recent announcement out of India illustrates this trend, as an Indian carrier announced that it would purchase more than 25 Gbps of new submarine cable capacity.

KDDI Opens New Chinese Data Center

On July 29, KDDI will launch TELEHOUSE SHANGHAI and provide services in Shanghai, China. This will be KDDI's second TELEHOUSE brand enterprise in China following the Beijing opening. This move will mean that TELEHOUSE brand data centers have branched into 9 regions and 12 cities and cover 18 sites worldwide (approximately 113,000 square meters).
