  • US government declares a state of emergency
  • Spain orders a nationwide lockdown
  • France orders closures of non-essential shops, cafes, restaurants and cinemas
  • Australia issues self-isolation order for international arrivals
  • US travel ban will be extended to include the UK and Ireland
  • Ghana closes borders to countries with more than 200 cases
