NEC Corporation announced the delivery of a submarine cable seismic and tsunami observation system to Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau (CWB) under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. This project is based on a contract between NEC Taiwan and the CWB.

DNeX Enters Agreement to Maintain Cables in Indonesia

Dagang NeXchange Berhad (DNeX), through a consortium formed between business unit PT DNeX Telco Indonesia (PT DTI) and PT Samudera Mbiantu Sesami (PT SMS), has signed a Consortium Agreement with PT Infrastruktur Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TelkomInfra) for the deployment, management, maintenance and repair as well as other value added works for the Maintenance Support Sistem Komunikasi Kabel Laut within and outside of Indonesia.
