The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has granted an extension a request for Special Temporary Authority (STA) filed on March 8, 2021, by GU Holdings Inc. (GU Holdings) to allow the continued commercial operation of the portion of the Pacific Light Cable Network (PLCN) connecting the United States and Taiwan while the Commission considers the application for a cable landing license for the cable.
