IWCS, Inc., producer of the International Cable & Connectivity Symposium, has once again collaborated with UL (Underwriter’s Laboratories) to present the third annual UL and IWCS China 2019 Cable & Connectivity Symposium.

It is Asia’s leading forum for the exchange of technical innovations and solutions for the industry, presented in a symposium format. The UL and IWCS China Symposium Committee has generated an extremely high-caliber program for several compelling sessions over three full days. It will be held on March 25-27, 2019 at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre in Shanghai, China, which is also the host hotel with a room block at a group rate for the conference.

Online registration is open for the Symposium at https://www.prereg.net/2019/iwcsc and through the English website http://www.ulandiwcschina.org/ or the Chinese website http://china.ulandiwcschina.org/.  Those who register before February 25, 2019 will have significant savings through the early bird discount.

The conference offers a full day of Professional Development Courses and two full days of Technical Symposium Sessions, all of which will be simultaneous translated between English and Mandarin. There is also an Executive Session and Keynote/Plenary Luncheon that features prominent speakers and topics of interest to general and commercial management. On Tuesday evening there will be a Hospitality Reception where a buffet dinner and drinks will be served at Xing He Li, a beautiful venue located on the water in the North Bund with a view of the Shanghai skyline.

The Professional Development Program consists of four core (basic) courses and 3 elective (advanced) courses. Four Professional Development basic training courses will be offered the morning of Monday, March 25, for those who are either new to the industry or want a basic overview on a topic. Monday afternoon will have three additional courses on more advanced topics of interest to those who want to gain deeper knowledge of a timely subject. Attendance certificates will be given to students attending any of the courses. All of the Professional Development Courses will conclude prior to the opening of the IWCS Technical Symposium on Tuesday, March 26, allowing attendees to participate both in the Courses and each aspect of the Symposium.

Over 80 presentations will be offered in the Executive Session, Plenary Session and the Technical Symposium Sessions staring on Tuesday. UL and IWCS invite you join them in learning about basic and emerging technologies and in meeting and networking with other global industry professionals to generate discussions of ideas to advance connectivity solutions. The 2019 Symposium will be based on the same format as the 2017 and 2018 conference events.
